DIRECTIONS
Where is Vister located?
Vister is described as a brand-new area in Hemsedal, located right next to Fyri Resort. It is strategically positioned with the town center on one side and the ski facility on the other.
The address provided is Lauparvegen 192, 3560 Hemsedal, and it is noted that online maps may not be updated with this new area.
ARRIVAL
Parking
All tenants park for free in our parking basement. The entrance to the parking basement is at the end of the building. The garage door opens automatically. The parking basement is open to everyone.
YOUR STAY
Ski equipment
Ski equipment should not be stored in the apartment but rather in the ski storage room located in the garage.
This storage room can be accessed from the garage level, near the stairs/elevator. Additionally, ski preparation or waxing should not be done inside the living units under any circumstances.
DEPARTURE
Cleaning
Departure instructions:
- The dishes must have been taken, the dishwasher started.
- Generally clean the apartment.
- Used bed linen/towels are placed in the hallway of the apartment.
- Close all windows/patio doors.
- Turn off all lights.
- Put the key back in the code box in the parking basement.
WASTE
Where is trash disposed of
Trash should not be left in the apartment or building but disposed of in waste containers located across the street towards the ski center, about 200 meters away, above Fyri Sports Club.
Waste sorting categories include:
- Glass and metal
- Cardboard and paper
- Clean plastic
- Other waste
INFORMATION
Gas fireplace
Starting the fireplace: Press buttons B and C at the same time until a short beep confirms that the start-up sequence has started. You will now hear continuous beeps until the pilot flame ignites. The fireplace will then light all three burners. When lit, the fireplace will always start at maximum output.
By using button D, flames/heat can be reduced as desired. (With two quick presses of button D, the fireplace will adjust down to the lowest power on all three burners) You can adjust the flames all the way down so that the burners go out, but the pilot flame will be lit. If the fireplace is to be switched off completely, button B must be used. Button C adjusts flames/heat up.
Switch off the fireplace: To switch off the fireplace completely, button B must be used. The fireplace then extinguishes all the burners and the pilot flame. It may take some time before the fireplace can be lit again if it has just been extinguished.
INFORMATION
Fire alarm
Short bursts:
Smoke has been detected in your living unit – there is not yet
any sound in other apartments.
- If you have control, press the button within 60 seconds. (until you get a yellow blink).
- The alarm stops.
- If the smoke is not aired out within 2 minutes, the alarm will start again.
You can stop the alarm up to 3 times.
Continuous sound: FIRE! Follow fire instructions. Call 110
Disable:
Press the button before smoke is detected to disable detectors in your apartment for a preset time. Detectors will automatically reconnect.

This apartment is privately owned and we have, as far as possible, arranged the conditions for you to get a good stay with us.
Guests and all traveling companions must comply with the rules of order, safety conditions, instructions and regulations regarding lodging.
General fire instructions
This instruction is posted on the wall in the hallway, as well as in this folder.
Important to know
Primary guest must be at least 22 years old, while all other guests must be at least 20, except for minors accompanied by a guardian. The person who makes the booking is required to stay in the unit for the duration of the rental.
Show respect for your neighbors
Between 11 pm and 7 am, guests and all traveling companions must show the greatest consideration and are obliged to avoid disturbing other guests.
Parking
Cars are parked in the parking garage belonging to this building.
Parking is free.
Accountability
The Guest is fully responsible for any damage to the lodging and its furniture. Extra cost will be charged.
Negligence, carelessness and crushing lead to liability for the damage.
If the no smoking rules are violated, a cleaning cost will be charged.
The guest may not use the lodging for any purpose other than the one agreed upon at the time the booking was made, (usually use as a holiday home).
The Guest is also not permitted to allow more people to stay overnight in the lodging than there are beds for.
Ski equipment
Ski equipment is not to be stored in the apartment but in the ski storage on the garage floor belonging to the apartment.
Under no circumstances should skis be prepared inside the housing unit.
Before departure
Obligatory paid cleaning does not include basic cleaning, as washing dishes or emptying rubbish/removal of empty bottles.
Vomiting and defecation in beds, furniture and the apartment in general will be charged extra for washing, and purchasing new bed linen etc.
The size of the amount depends on the «damage».
Basic cleaning includes the following:
Rubbish is emptied into containers on the opposite side of the road back towards the ski centre about 200 meters (Read the separate post about Basic cleaning)
The dishes taken, the dishwasher started.
Generally tidy the apartment.
Used bed linen/towels are placed in the hallway.
Close all windows/patio door.
Turn off all lights.
Put the key back in the code box in the parking basement.
Loss of the key is to be charged the guest of NOK 2,000 for changing the lock.
